IRON REMOVER

Ferris is a pH neutral iron remover. It is designed to dislodge environmental fallout and other metallic airborne contaminants from your paint. Typically these contaminants get stuck on your finish and are not easily removed with just a basic car wash. They need a little assistance from something to break them down and get them busted loose from the surface. You will know when Ferris is interacting with contamination, because it will bleed purple as it begins to dissolve those contaminants.

Ferris is also an incredible Wheel cleaner. Especially if your car is of the heavy duty truck or European car variety. There are many vehicles on the road today that make an atrocious amount of break dust. Ferris attacks that particulate aggressively while remaining gentle on the finish of your Wheel with no fear of “burning.”

We recommend using Ferris on a cool surface, so make sure your vehicle is ambient temperature and in the shade when using this product. If you use Ferris on a hot surface it will dry out too fast and not be able to work to its maximum capacity and you risk staining the surface. Not because it’s acidic, but because it is too hot and dried too fast. So be sure to use this material after your vehicle has completely cooled down.

Spray Ferris as lightly or liberally as needed and let dwell for anywhere between 30 seconds to one minute. And then wash or agitate and rinse away. Simple as that.

If your vehicle is stored outdoors on a regular basis with no shelter. I would recommend using Ferris on any of your top facing surfaces once every 30 to 60 days to prevent the fallout from building up and creating a gritty finish. The back of your vehicle on the trunk lid or hatch also collects a lot of particulate and debris from the aerodynamics of daily driving. So that would be another area of the vehicle to use Ferris if you’re noticing that your hydrophobic properties are diminishing.
